Anshu Kedia is an Associate Professor in the department of Sociology A P Sen Memorial Girls PG College,University of Lucknow since 2003. In 18 years of her teaching experience, she has published 32 research papers and 2 edited books and her interests include rural sociology, sociology of history, sustainable development and informal sector.
She has been associated with Indian Sociological Society since two decades. She have worked on a research project sponsored by UGC. And have been member of editorial board in many refereed journals. At present she holds the position of Treasurer of Sociological Society of UP, also serving as a General Secretary Lucknow University Associated College Teachers' Association (LUACTA), Lucknow. She has also collaborated with several NGOs and other development sectors. She have also been awarded by National Election Commission and many other government departments and NGOs. She have initiated a virtual platform ' Sociological Understanding' in which all leading sociologists participate and share their ideas. Along with this, she have organized several offline and online seminars and workshops and have been part of more than 50 National and International seminars.
